For this assignment, I chose to redesign the layout for one of my favorite bylines this semester: a story about how Syracuse University students from the Los Angeles region were processing the devastating wildfires as they returned to central New York from winter break. We used Figma, an online design platform that in many ways resembles Adobe Illustrator for this project, but also maximizes website-necessary tools, such as animations and webpage design.
